I’ve spent the last decade exploring the world of work, and I’ve developed a belief that everyone deserves to build a career they love. Before launching my own business, I led marketing and SEO teams at both startups and enterprise companies — scaling websites to millions of monthly visitors and mentoring people into leadership roles along the way.

My career started at 22 when I left a legal assistant job in Washington, D.C. to pursue a wild idea: running my own website. That one leap led to a career in digital marketing, the confidence to negotiate six-figure salaries, and eventually, a passion for helping others excel in their careers too.

Today, through my book The Confident Candidate, I help professionals prepare for interviews, communicate their value, and confidently pursue the opportunities they deserve.

A bit more about me

  • I’m the first generation in my family to be born in the U.S. and attend college.

  • I studied Communications at the University of Pennsylvania and graduated debt-free in three years.

  • When I’m not writing, I’m probably tinkering with new business ideas, exploring coffee shops, or thinking up puns for my next creative project.
